So how do you go about creating a blog? There are two blogging services out there that allow you to set up a blog for free; wordpress and blogger (Well there are many more but only the two matter). If you have an email account then you are ready to create a blog.

Before you start blogging you need to choose which of the two meets your needs. The free version of wordpress does not support the plugins functions which makes search engine optimization and other modifications a bit hard. On the other hand blogger use an easy to use drag and drop interface. Unlike blogger, free wordpress does not support monetization. 

Setting Up Your Free Wordpress Blog
Head over to Wordpress.com and sign up for an account using an active email account. After verifying your account, navigate to your dashboard and click create blog. Choose your blog name and also the web address of your blog.It will be something like http://example.wordpress.com. You are now ready to start blogging.

Head over to Blogger.com and create a free account using an email account or even your Google Account if you have one. Click create blog. Choose your blog name and web address. Choose a template of your choice. After this you will be taken to posting where you can start blogging.
