BLOGGING: WHAT KEEPS YOU GOING?

We all have a reason why we have joined the blogosphere. There are some of us who blog for the money it brings, some are using their blogs to land a job or sell a product. Most will be those who see blogging as a hobby. Then there is the group that would fit in most of these categories, if not all of them.

Now what makes me a happy blogger is  just watching my blog community grow. It is like bringing up your own baby and watching them grow, helping them learn, while you learn too.
It gives me profound satisfaction to have a voice and share with an audience, people from diverse cultures and regions.

When I started blogging, I did it because it looked cool. Instead of your diary you have a place you can share your experiences, with real people. Not just a book that won't talk to you, or give you a thumbs up for a good article. Unlike diaries information in blogs can be shared with many people and that's the joy of it. Life's experiences are only great when shared.

Blogs have changed from what they used to be years back. People now have more reasons why they need to blog. Nearly every business worth it's salt has a blog. Someone somewhere is using their blog as a C.V . Others are promoting their affiliate products or those they have created.

So what keeps you going ? What makes you log into your account every other day to write? What makes you work hard promoting your blog?

Finding the answers to this questions is going to make you a better blogger. You will know how to target your blog for the right audience. You will be able to understand your audience better and know what language to use to appeal to them. Generally it will make you a better blogger.

If you can't find a reason why you have a blog, you will have great difficulty making your blog great. The best way is to try do something you like, though if you blog about your cat odds are that you won't get far. If you write about something you have passion for, you will have a great chance of succeeding.
